PAF to Get 4 Brand New Fighter Copters This Month
MANILA, Philippines - The first four of the eight brand new combat utility helicopters purchased by the Philippine Air Force (PAF) from Poland are expected to be delivered this month. Gen. Eduardo Oban Jr., Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff, confirmed to the delivery of the Polish-made Swienik helicopters but did not say the exact date.

MANILA, Philippines – A House lawmaker pushed for the approval of a bill providing a 15-year modernization program for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Muntinlupa Rep. Rodolfo Biazon, chairman of the Committee on National Defense and Security, said there is a need to immediately approve House Bill 4949 as the current AFP Modernization Act sets to expire in December this year.
